COVID Wedding Fayre

Whether you are already an engaged couple planning your special day or you just want to look around for when that ring finally does appear, wedding fayres are the perfect place to start! Not only can you see how your day could look in front of you, you also have that chance to get to know your potential suppliers and have a more personal conversation with them.

With all of that in mind we decided to hold our very own wedding fayre at Heysham Golf Club on the 2nd of August alongside our partner in events Trudi Downie, owner and creator of Ribbons and Roses

You may have thought that, with the current climate and the restrictions posed by COVID-19, we wouldn’t be able to pull off such a massive event like this however, in true Chef’s Catering Northwest style, we were able to tailor the space allowing each of our suppliers to have their full set up whilst maintaining a safe distance from each other and our beautiful brides to be.

In keeping with current government regulations each guest had to book by appointment in and fill in a track and trace sheet specifically for the wedding fayre. As well as this, a strict one way system was followed by both staff and guests ensuring no supplier was missed out.
From the dress, photography and room decoration to the cakes, party favours and even transport and activities, our wedding fayre made sure our brides could see just what their special day could look like. We also had our in house chefs create some delicate, delicious canapes for our brides to give them a taste of what their guests could be eating on their special day!
It was such an amazing day to be a part of and even though COVID restricted many things for us, it certainly did not put a damper on our day and we hope all those that came and visited us felt the same way! We managed to capture some images from the day and over the next few weeks we will be introducing you all to our incredible team of suppliers that came out and supported us and, more importantly, where to find them for your own perfect day!
